I have begun to discover things I am good at and writing happens to be one of them. So in an effort to improve on my strengths and utilize them to express myself and hopefully encourage others, I have been writing blogs for some time now. Even back in Myspace days I would throw down my feelings in a couple paragraphs and not worry about what it sounded like.

I continue that now, though I incorporate more than feelings these days. Being on Blogspot for a while has started to pick up for me in terms of page views, so I imagined WordPress couldn’t help the cause of getting my thoughts out into public.

I am a Christian, and my writing reflects as much. God is my center, and I live for him, quite literally. “In Christ alone my hope is found/He is my light, my strength, my song.” I work with Youth With a Mission as a full-time volunteer. I live by relationship based support from family, friends, and church, and I help train short-term missionaries to give lots of people a taste for missions. I’m pretty laid back and I like to laugh!

PS: The ‘llama’ thing started a long time ago, and has now just become an internet identity thing. But I still think llamas are a heck of a lot cooler than alpacas.
